III Intercompany Solidarity Tournament

Despite efforts and medical advances, cancer remains one of the leading causes of death in the world today. According to the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM), the number of new cases already exceeds that initially predicted for 2020. It is also estimated that one in every two men and one in every three women will suffer from some type of cancer during their lives, a staggering figure without a doubt.

For this reason and as part of the fight against breast cancer, Future Space will participate in the III Intercompany Solidarity Tournament Futbol 7, which will take place on June 24 at the Polideportivo Municipal José Caballero, Alcobendas.

The tournament will be organized by the Spanish group GEICAM of Cancer Research, and its objective is to raise awareness through the promotion of sport and healthy lifestyles as a measure of prevention and recovery during cancer treatments.

The funds obtained as support from the participating companies will be used to finance EFiK "A Window of Opportunity", a project that aims to research and analyse sport in women suffering from breast cancer, to check its preventive effect and reduce side effects in patients undergoing treatment.

It should be noted that this project will be implemented at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital and intends to expand to other hospitals in the future.

At Future Space we are committed to solidarity, we are also firm believers in innovation applied to research to improve people's lives.

As a company, we promote actions within our team to give back to society what it gives us and to improve our environment through the capabilities we have as a company.
