Homsec 2017

Future Space has successfully presented its technological solutions in the field of Defense and Security at the 6th International Exhibition of National Security Technologies HOMSEC 2017, held in Madrid.

Within the framework of this event, specialized solutions in Big Data systems, Advanced Analytics, Open Source Intelligence and Communication Trace Detection were presented in order to propose a new way of fighting crime and its different forms of action in an increasingly global and complex environment.

Big Data and Advanced Analytics, the supremacy of information.

The application of the new technological paradigms around Big Data and Advanced Analytics are key pieces on which to articulate this new positioning. It is necessary for the analyst to be able to mix data from different sources with different characteristics of reliability or credibility of the information.

Future Space's approach is to use 100% of the information regardless of its source, format and characteristics, so that each information extract provides more value than the data itself.

In this way, new technological, cultural and organizational challenges arise in the LEAs, around how to govern the data, about how to discover the information of interest for a specific purpose and how to homogenize in some way the great diversity of information available.

OSINT, who is hiding in anonymity?

For Future Space the main focus is the possibility of generating valuable knowledge, for which it is necessary not only technology, but to apply integrated work methodologies.

The difficulty of facing the direct discovery of physical users has allowed the generation of the relational analysis of profiles for the discovery of the fingerprint, in this way the parallel work HUMINT and OSINT seeks to be at the service of the detection of users or cells and potential targets.

Similarly, the automatic analysis of the content of the different sources allows the main issues to be identified without the participation of the analyst, so that at a glance, it is possible to detect possible priority focus issues, detect alerts and identify hidden relationship links not evident with traditional analysis.

Just as it is important to understand the physical footprint they leave on who they see, who they meet and who they interact with, it is also vital to understand the virtual footprint they leave on the communications they make.

Communication Footprint, the Future Space approach to dealing with encrypted information

The application of Big Data technologies, Advanced Analytics and the application of Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence models, together with the standard export capabilities of devices such as IPRs, constitute a high-value mix when it comes to exploiting the communication footprint that criminals generate in the virtual world, especially on those occasions when the intercepted content is encrypted.

Future Space as a reliable partner for the Force and Security Forces.

In addition to presenting our own technology and specialized approaches in the fight against crime, Future Space was visited by international delegations that showed interest in our proposals, as well as by leading national clients, which reinforces our commitment to being a trusted partner and to having 20 years of experience collaborating with Security Forces and Corps with technological solutions to transform knowledge into intelligence.
