The Digital Transformation has become not only part of the agenda in terms of technologies and pending tasks of a company, it is a working life style that has been gaining ground for years among professionals. Today, being up to date with office automation and basic office computer packages is not enough. It is necessary to be updated with the trends in computer tools and to think in a "digital" way in order to continue growing and being relevant in our sector.

People Matters and the Human Resources Observatory are organizing a series of breakfasts with a small group of managers on a specific topic whose discussion offers a diverse vision of managers in the strategies that are carried out in their companies, in this case, skills and ways of working from Human Resources within the digital era, which took place in the showroom of LG Electronics, attended by the Director of Human Resources, Maria Torrijos.

The most important guidelines mentioned were learning to change roles and lead in a more natural and transparent way. It was also mentioned that the main competencies in this new era are: corporate leadership, networking, digital curiosity, collective intelligence and, as mentioned above, digital curiosity.

New ways of working and managing human capital and talent in companies is a necessary change, since Spain currently ranks 14th in the European Union's economic and social digitalisation index. Within Future Space, there is a commitment to measures such as collaborative work in the cloud, time and space flexibility to make the office go with the people and thus promote their quality of life and productivity, and encourage the lifestyle and work in the digital age.
