Last Friday 29th April, we had the pleasure of attending the virtual job fair ESIC BUSINESS & MARKETING SCHOOL. ESIC 2021 Virtual Job Fair, organised by ESIC BUSINESS & MARKETING SCHOOL itself.
This fair, which has been held in person for 14 years now, opened its doors for the first time virtually due to the pandemic. However, the objective each year remains the same: to generate and promote both employment and entrepreneurship.
More than 4,000 participants, including alumni and current students, and more than 170 companies, with more than 700 job offers, joined an online environment where all attendees could take a virtual tour of each of the different stands.
Unlimited access, where each user had a series of credentials provided by the organisation itself, allowed access to this virtual job fair.
Future Space at the virtual job fair
The virtual job fair improves the chances of getting a job without having to travel thanks to access from anywhere via mobile phone, tablet or computer. Therefore, as a technology company, we could not be absent from the large virtual pavilion.
This fair aimed at young people, one of the groups with the greatest difficulties in accessing the labour market, is a unique experience. As a company, we were not only looking for the best profile but also to increase our contacts and candidates in order to increase their possibilities with us, now or in the future.
A virtual chat where you can hold meetings with the heads of the companies where you would like to work at any time during the event, a tour of the different offers and internships that match what you are looking for and an interesting virtual talk, "Talento Future Space S.A.", given by each entity and accompanied by professionals from the sector, were some of the options that allowed each of them to find their future career.
Finally, the finishing touch could not be other than the great reception from all the candidates, who were very participative during the fair. In addition, we not only had the opportunity to interact with young people dedicated to the technology sector, but also areas such as marketing, communication, sales, etc. joined the intense virtual day, which we are looking forward to next year.
